Lloyd of the Flies: Wetland Bug Hunt at WWT London Wetland Centre is a brilliant outdoor activity for families, running from 5 April to 1 June 2025. Inspired by the animated series “Lloyd of the Flies”, this hands-on adventure invites young explorers to delve into the fascinating world of wetland insects.
Children of all ages can take part in this fun bug-hunting trail across the beautiful wetland reserve in Barnes, learning about beetles, butterflies, spiders, and more through interactive displays and discovery points. It’s the perfect mix of education and excitement in a truly natural setting.
The trail is self-guided and runs daily from 10:00 am to 5:30 pm. There’s no need to book in advance for the bug hunt (though standard admission applies), and it’s included with your day ticket to WWT London.
