SEND Play AT Young V&A London

SEND Play at Young V&A is a wonderful opportunity for children with SEND (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities) and their families to enjoy playful exploration in a calm, inclusive environment. Held at the inspiring Young V&A museum in Bethnal Green, these sessions are thoughtfully designed to offer a safe and welcoming space where children can play, discover and express themselves freely.

During SEND Play sessions, the museum’s galleries open exclusively to families, with reduced noise, sensory-friendly adjustments and plenty of engaging, hands-on activities to explore at your child’s own pace. Whether they love building, creating, storytelling or imaginative play, there’s something to capture every child’s curiosity while supporting their individual needs and interests.

Parents and carers are encouraged to join in too, making this a lovely chance to bond, learn and make happy memories together in a relaxed setting without the usual crowds.
