Rail 200 Gala

Rail 200 Gala steams into Mizens Railway, Woking on Sunday 28 September 2025. This special event marks 200 years of rail heritage with miniature steam and diesel engines running on the charming woodland tracks. It’s a wonderful day out for all ages, from train-mad toddlers to nostalgic grandparents.

Visitors can watch the engines in action, ride the miniature railway, and enjoy the friendly atmosphere created by the Woking Miniature Railway Society volunteers. Expect heritage displays, refreshments and a community buzz that makes the gala extra special.
