SEND Family Day at the London Wetland Centre is a calm and inclusive nature experience designed especially for children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. Held on 14 June 2025, families can enjoy early access to the centre from 9:00am, with a range of sensory and engaging activities before it opens to the general public.

Activities include pond dipping, bug hunts, storytelling with ClearVision Books, Makaton sessions with Singing Hands, and interactive handling with the WWT Learning team. A quiet breakout space, Changing Places toilet, and massages for parents are also available.
