The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ at Hatchlands Park

The Very Hungry Caterpillar™ Trail at Hatchlands Park brings the beloved children’s book to life in a colourful and interactive outdoor adventure. Running from 10 May to 6 July 2025, this self-led trail is perfect for families with children of all ages.

Follow the journey of the tiny caterpillar as he munches through a rainbow of foods and transforms into a beautiful butterfly. Along the way, families can enjoy nature play, storytelling prompts, and themed activities—all set in the beautiful gardens of this National Trust property near Guildford.
