Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND)

At Fun & Play, we believe that every child should have access to activities, events, and spaces where they can truly belong, without barriers, labels, or the need for "reasonable adjustments." Our platform is dedicated to highlighting opportunities that are inherently inclusive, designed from the outset to accommodate the diverse ways children experience the world. But the reality is, we’re not there yet. Too often, inclusion is an afterthought, requiring adaptations rather than being built into the very fabric of an activity. We want to change that.

Why Special Educational Needs and Disabilities

As mums of both SEND and typically developing children, we see firsthand the challenges in finding activities that truly welcome all children. We dream of a world where families like ours don’t have to choose between activities that work for one child but not another. Where siblings and friends, regardless of their needs, can enjoy the same experiences together, without compromise. Right now, families spend hours searching for places that accommodate different needs, and too often, the options are limited.

That’s why we created Fun & Play, to make the search easier, to connect families with genuinely inclusive activities, and to advocate for a future where no child is left on the sidelines.
