Superstars Cafe Chertsey is the kind of place we love discovering at Fun & Play, and we couldn’t wait to share it with you. We recently visited with our two children (aged 3 and 4), and honestly? Both of them absolutely loved it. ✨
From imaginative pretend play to space for climbing, dressing up and performing, Superstars Cafe Chertsey feels thoughtfully designed for families with young children, especially those juggling babies and older siblings.
Why we loved Superstars Cafe Chertsey
🎭 So much pretend play
One of the highlights of Superstars Cafe Chertsey is the variety of pretend play areas. There are different themed zones where little ones can fully immerse themselves in imaginative play. The kind that keeps them busy, happy and engaged for ages.

Our two were straight into role play, moving between areas, making up stories and playing together in a way that felt really natural and relaxed.

🧗♀️ Climbing, balancing and performing
Alongside pretend play, Superstars Cafe Chertsey also has a small play frame that children can climb, plus stepping stones that are great for balance and coordination.

There’s also a stage area with lots of costumes, perfect for kids who love dressing up, performing or simply trying on different outfits. It adds a lovely creative element that you don’t always find in play cafés.

👶 A baby-only area (we love this)
One thing that really stood out at Superstars Cafe Chertsey is the dedicated baby area.
It’s a baby-only space, set up like a playpen, which means:
- Babies can play safely without bigger children rushing through
- Parents with babies and older siblings can still keep an eye on everyone
- It feels calm, contained and very well thought out
If you’ve ever tried to manage a baby and a toddler in the same play space, you’ll know how valuable this is.

☕ Seating, food and proper coffee
Superstars Cafe Chertsey also gets big points from us for the parent setup. There are tables where you can sit down, relax and watch your children play, without feeling like you’re in the way.
They sell food and drinks too (yes, including coffee 🙌), so you can let your little ones eat there, or enjoy a hot drink while they play.
💛 Friendly, welcoming staff
The women working at Superstars Cafe Chertsey were genuinely lovely, friendly, accommodating and clearly great with children. It made the whole experience feel relaxed and welcoming, especially if it’s your first visit.
🧼 Clean and well maintained
Cleanliness really matters in indoor play spaces, and Superstars Cafe Chertsey felt very clean and well looked after. The different areas felt fresh and cared for – something we always appreciate as parents.
Sessions and practical info
- Open play sessions: 3 sessions per day, except Sundays
- Session length: 2 hours
- Sundays: As far as we can see, there’s 1 open play session and the rest of the day is used for private parties
- Parking: Paid parking nearby, with a maximum stay of 2 hours (worth keeping an eye on the time)
The 2-hour session length works really well. Long enough for children to fully settle into play, but not so long that they get overtired.

We’d especially recommend Superstars Cafe Chertsey for:
- Toddlers and preschoolers
- Families with babies and older siblings
- Children who love pretend play and dressing up
- Parents looking for a calm, friendly indoor space
We’ll definitely be coming back.
